RAPS Convergence 2017: See you at Washington DC
Luis Meléndez, Sr. Regulatory Affairs Manager RAFINT, will be attending the RAPS Regulatory Convergence at the National Harbor near the nation’s capital, 9–12 September, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. He will be open to address any questions you may have about RAFINT services and operational system. We are sharing below an open letter he has prepared. You can contact RAFINT at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am excited to attend this year’s Regulatory Convergence at Washington DC and look forward to see old faces and connect with new friends in the regulatory affairs profession.
This year we will have the Directors/Heads of the PAHO Latin America Reference Agencies attending: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, El Salvador—Central America and Mexico. That is great but it would have being nice to have someone from CARICOM and get an update of how the Caribean Regulatory System is going. The group will be discussing the regulatory challenges for Bio-therapeutic products in the region (one of my favorites!) and will share their experiences and regional initiatives and updates regarding marketing approvals of medical devices. Both session will be held on Monday 11-SEP-2017 afternoon. Two sessions for these subjects may fall short, but for sure there will be ample time to follow-up with the agency officials afterwards.
If you want to take the opportunity to meet me, share regulatory exeperiences for the LATAM region or are curious about how RAFINT may be able to help you in the region just let me know.
